It is with great excitement The Peterborough DALROD Phantoms are pleased to announce that DALROD will be taking on the management and ownership of the Peterborough ENL2 side, the Peterborough DALROD Islanders.

DALROD owners, Dave and Jo Lane, have been working hard behind the scenes to prepare the Islanders for the new 2014-15 season, which will see a huge step in the development system in Peterborough.

The Islanders will continue to serve as a development team for the under18′s looking to move into Senior hockey. As part of the new ownership, the Islanders will also now serve as the Phantoms farm (feeder) team, keeping strong lucidity between all the teams within the Peterborough Hockey organisation.

The Phantoms team and coaching staff will be working closely with the Islanders team moving forward allowing players to gain experience through training. Join efforts will also give Islander players the chance to showcase themselves as prospects for the Phantoms.

Phantoms Head Coach Slava Koulikov commented – “I am pleased to see that Jo and Dave Lane have taken on the Islanders, as this will give a great working relationship between the two teams. With most professional teams there is a farm team to help with bridging the gap from the junior development and senior hockey.”

He continued “I look forward to working with the new Islanders coach in making sure prospect players are ready to make the step up to the EPL”
