The Peterborough DALROD Phantoms are delighted to announce the signing of Czech Forward Milan Baranyk.

Milan has a great deal of experience having played in the top leagues of the Czech Republic, Poland and France, having scored 250 goals for 510 points in his senior career.

Phantoms Head Coach Slava Koulikov said: “I would like to welcome Milan to the Phantoms. Milan has an impressive pedigree and I am hoping he can become one of our key players. His points are consistent every year, he is a true professional and all reports came back very positive. We have a good mix in the team and I think when he settles down, his experience will be a big factor for us. We all are looking forward to his arrival.”

Talking about joining the DALROD Phantoms, Baranyk said: “Coach Kulikov contacted me, I liked what he had to say and we quickly agreed terms. My friend Frantisek Bakrlík played a big role in this transfer, he recommended I play in the English (Premier) League and in particular the DALROD Phantoms”.

He continued: “I would like to help the team as much as possible, I hope we do well, and achieve some good success. I hope I will enjoy playing there and have fun together with the fans who will support us throughout the season.

I am looking forward to the new season with a new team and new teammates. I’m excited, I want to play well, and brush up on my English too.”
