The Peterborough DALROD Phantoms are pleased to announce the return of veteran defenceman James Hutchinson.

Hutchinson, a member of the legendary Treble winning team of 2008/09, has also previously played for the Hull Stingrays, Belfast Giants, Manchester Phoenix in their Elite League days, as well as the Basingstoke Bison, (both Elite League and EPIHL), and the Slough Jets before rejoining the DALROD Phantoms last season.

Peterborough DALROD Phantoms Head Coach Slava Koulikov on the return of James said “I’m very happy to see Hutchy back with us this year.

“He has vast experience in British hockey and I will expect him and Norts to lead our D on and off the ice.

“I’m looking forward to working with him from the start of the season for the first time in three attempts”

Speaking about his return for another season, Hutchinson said “I think Slava is a great coach and having him for the whole season is going to be a good thing.

“I consider Peterborough my second home so it’s always an easy decision to return.

“As a team, I think we can lift a trophy this year and can aim for making the final 4 at Coventry”.
