As soon as the old season had ended, the Peterborough DALROD Phantoms new season was being planned.

Talks took place as early as April with Peterborough Regional College(PRC), in regards to working in partnership with the Phantoms organisation.

PhanTv and the media team had been working increasingly hard over the previous season to take the new look Phantoms to the next level. We felt we had something unique that not many sporting teams were delivering.

With this in mind the structure needed to expand, and creativity and time was needed.

The philosophy of the team has always been ‘our Community’, and it is with great pleasure to be able to announce that PRC will be working with us over the next season.

Nick Reinis Lecturer of Journalism at PRC said ‘ The opportunity for the students to gain first hand experience is brilliant and not to be missed. We are all excited to be a part of this project and look forward to getting started’

Weekly you will see students around the arena. They will have been tasked with activities to fulfil and learn all aspect of being a part of a media crew within a sporting organisation. These duties will span from event management, social media, photography, videography and journalism.

With this in mind we also have another great addition to the Media portfolio in the shape of our NEW dedicated Phantoms weekly programme – ‘PHANZONE‘.

With a media team compiling news, statistics and interviews for your pleasure, it’s a fans must have!!! Priced at the reasonable £2 we hope this appeals to you all.

Phantoms fans please welcome the students when you see them around the rink, as they are doing tremendous job, whilst learning and gaining experience at the club.
