The Peterborough DALROD Phantoms have today announced that their Prospect players for the 2014-15 Season will be Ryan Fraley and James White.

The Prospect system at the Peterborough club provides an opportunity for the players to train with the Phantoms each week, aswell as having the opportunity to gain gameday experience. With the new link-up between the Phantoms and their NIHL sister Team, the Peterborough DALROD Islanders, both will have plenty of opportunity to develop their career whilst also playing for the Phantoms Under 18’s team.

Speaking on the announcement, Phantoms Director of Hockey, Jon Kynaston, said “Both Ryan and James have worked hard and improved their skills and work ethic as they have matured. They have potential and I know Slava is looking forward to beginning to work with them.

“It helps also now with the Islanders being a closer part of our club that the young players can extend their development in the NIHL as well as stepping up and training and testing themselves at times with the first team squad.

“We look forward to working with both players in the coming season and seeing their development”.

Phantoms Head Coach, Slava Koulikov, added “I’d like to welcome Ryan and James to the team. They will be practicing with us every Friday.

“We want make sure we have a good structure between junior and senior teams in Peterborough and want to produce good players on a yearly basis, to keep developing the club

“We will be working closely with the Junior Phantoms and the Islanders to develop home grown talent, ensuring that the kids aim high and we produce more top players like David Clarke and Craig Peacock.”

Phantoms Under 18’s are next in home action this Saturday when they take on Guildford U18’s at 6pm.

Peterborough DALROD Islanders have their home opener on the 4th October when Chelmsford Warriors travel to Bretton for a 5pm Face-Off.
