The DALROD sponsored Peterborough Phantoms are delighted to announce the signing of forward Martins Susters.
The 16 year old star of the future, made his debut for the Phantoms on Saturday, making an phenomenal impact over the double header home weekend.
Phantoms Director Of Hockey, Jon Kynaston said: “It’s good to welcome Martins back to Peterborough. Martins spent many of his junior years as part of the Peterborough junior club. After a brief spell away in Nottingham he has now returned, making the step up into senior hockey.
“Martins is a skilled and very capable player. He is still very young and is still learning the game.
“He is developing physically as well but we are sure he will be an asset to the team. “
Susters will be joining the Phantoms on a full time basis until the end of the season.
Another new face on the Ice over the weekend was 20 year old Mason Webster, who has joined us on a 4 game trial from the Haringey Racers.
Jon also commented on the trial of Webster : “Mason joins us from NIHL Haringey Racers. He is originally from Chelmsford, and has spent his first senior years in the NIHL tier and is looking to break into the EPL and is looking forward to testing himself for the Phantoms. Mason is currently here on a two week trial basis”
We would like to welcome both players to the Phantoms.
