The DALROD sponsored Peterborough Phantoms regret to announce the departure of Forward Alan Lack.

Unfortunately Alan has had to call time on his tenure with the Phantoms ahead of schedule due to work and family pressures. During his time with the Phantoms, Lack has played 28 games, scored 10 goals and 5 assists racking up 72 penalty minutes.

Speaking on his departure, Alan said “It’s with a heavy heart to be leaving the Phantoms, but unfortunately due to the travel and losing my job at the start of the season, it’s now come to a point where I have had to make this decision.

“I start a new job on Monday, and the working patterns mean I cannot commit fully to the Phantoms.

“It is a shame that we couldn’t find a way for me to continue with the Phantoms, but unfortunately this has not happened. I have to say a massive ‘thank you’ to my teammates, management, owners, PhanForce, off -ice staff and of course the fans.

Good Luck for the rest of the season!”

Phantoms head coach, Slava Koulikov also commented “Lacky has been a fans favorite since the start of the season, we obviously wanted to keep him, but family must come first.

“We wish Lacky all the best for the future, and of course thank him for all his effort for the Phantoms”

Alan Lack will make his final appearance for the Peterborough DALROD Phantoms on Saturday 3rd January against the Bracknell Bees.
