The DALROD sponsored Peterborough Phantoms’ Cam McGiffin has been selected for the Great Britain Under 20’s squad who will face the Nottingham Lions on Tuesday evening.

The game, which will take place at 7:30pm in the Olympic Rink at the National Ice Centre in Nottingham, is part of GB’s preparations for the World Championship (Division 1B) in Megeve, France.

GB U20s head coach, Tom Watkins, said: “This is by no means our finished squad for the World Championship.

“There are obviously some players playing abroad and every place is still up for grabs.

“What this game will do, however, is give the coaching staff a good chance to see players in match action.

“This will form part of an extensive two-day camp as we gear up our preparations ahead of the tournament.”

The squad also features Lewis Hook and Alex Whyte who both came through the Junior programme in Peterborough and previously played for the Phantoms.

All tickets are priced at just £3 and can be purchased from the NIC box office on the night of the game.
