The DALROD sponsored Peterborough Phantoms are delighted to confirm that British forward Connor Glossop will be joining Phantoms for the 2016/17 campaign.

Nottingham Lions last night put out a press release saying farewell to Connor, a player who has been a star player with their NIHL 2 side for three seasons. The Nottingham born, 18 year old, is an Under 20’s GB international and has played 65 games for the Lions scoring 38 goals since the 2013/14 season.

Head Coach Slava Koulikov commented on Glossop’s arrival “Connor caught the eye of a few EPL clubs after having a strong season in NIHL 2. I am really glad he decided to join the Phantoms.”

Slava continues “Connor is a hard working, committed player with good stats and attitude. He has the passion and desire to want to make the step up to the next level.

“All these qualities fit in well with our structure and I am looking forward to working with him”

Connor also commented on his arrival “I decided to join the Phantoms, due to being a young player wanting to learn from a good coach who can send me in the right direction. To me this is extremely important and after working with Slava at the GB camps and tournament, I know he will be able to teach me a lot about the game and progress me into a better player.

Glossop continued “Hopefully I will be able to bring speed to the Phantoms as well as my enthusiasm and work ethic.”

Further signings are due to be announced soon and can be found on www.GoPhantoms.co.uk, the official Peterborough Phantoms Facebook page, on Twitter – @GoPhantoms or our dedicated YouTube channel OfficialPhanTV.
