The DALROD sponsored Peterborough Phantoms are just 2 weeks away from hitting the ice for the new season.

They start with two weekend of challenge games, before their League campaign gets under way.

On Bank Holiday Saturday (27th August) the Phantoms take to the ice against the Sheffield Steeldogs. Steeldogs have seen a number of changes to their squad over the summer, including the addition of former Phantom and current Lithuanian International Donatas Kumeliauskas.

The following Sunday (4th September) the Phantoms will take on the Milton Keynes Lightning in the 2nd leg of the Ashes (first leg is in Milton Keynes on 3rd September). Lightning include former Phantom Milan Baranyk who moved to the Buckinghamshire club over the Summer as they look to build a team to compete in the Elite League from 2017/18.

For both Pre-Season game, the Phantoms will be operating a “Kids Go Free” offer, with Adult tickets £14 and OAP/Students £8. Season ticket holders will be permitted to use their reserved seating, but entry will not be covered by your season ticket.

Phantoms fans will get an opportunity to meet the new look Phantoms, and purchase merchandise including the new replica shirts on Friday 26th September. Fans are invited to watch the team train from 6.30, before the “Meet The Players” event which will take place in the recently renovated Planet Ice Bar. The Ice Rink also now hosts a Papa Johns Pizzeria which is open 7 days a week.
