The Peterborough DALROD Phantoms are pleased to confirm we have secured a deal with Marmalade Insurance for the use of their car park on match nights.

As we reported last week, the car park has been an issue since the start of this season. But we are pleased to confirm we have secured an arrangement with Marmalade Insurance for the use of their facilities on match nights. These are the facilities many of you experienced last week on Alpha Park.

Due to the costs involved, from today’s match against the Bracknell Bees we will be charging £1 per car to cover the costs of extra security and help towards the fee for the use of the car park. Marmalade are extremely supportive and helped at every opportunity, but they are needing to charge a fee for the use of the car park.

The Phantoms organisation felt it imperative to find additional parking, due to the limited spaces at available. Recently, we have seen a number of cars forced to park illegally on pavements and double yellow lines. We have been informed by the local authorities that they will be ticketing those parked in illegal areas. We do urge you to use the overflow car park once all the spaces at the ice rink have been taken.

Thank you again to you the fans for their patience’s and also to Planet Ice for their efforts for securing additional spaces within the facility as well as Marmalade Insurance for making providing the overflow.
