The Peterborough DALROD Phantoms, Sponsored by Smart Solutions Group are pleased to present to you, the 2017/18 off ice staff.

Phantoms are delighted to have such a great off ice team supporting the players and Slava as Head Coach. This season will be no different as we welcome back some old faces and strengthen the organisation in adding some new.

Firstly we would like to welcome back Assistant Coach, Jason Buckman. Last season was Jason’s first year transitioning from playing to coaching. Jason transitioned well and became a vital member of the coaching staff,  we are all very pleased he will be returning and playing a part in taking the Phantoms forward this season.

A new addition to the coaching staff is D man Tom Norton. Tom has a wealth of experience as a player at all levels of hockey in the UK. He has a very good understanding, and an impeccable way of conversing with people. Tom, will be adding none interferring responsibilities to his playing role, in aiding and developing the defensive players and assisiting Slava and Jason.

As we have witnesses over the past few years the team ethos is what strives the Phantoms forward in achievements. So we are pleased to welcome back Stu Edwards as the Team Strengthen & Conditioning Coach. Stu’s military  position gives the Phantoms an excellent advantage in tapping into his extensive knowledge in team building and fitness.
With over 14 years experience with many sports teams, including Northampton Saints Rugby Club, and  with the many qualifications ranging from being a GP referral Specialist, Strengthening and Conditioning Coach and Gym Instructor to name a few, we are in extremely professional hands.

From across the seas in USA,  we say a huge welcome back to Team & Coaching Consultant Lee Elias. Lee has been involved with the Phantoms for the last 3 seasons, and now entering his fourth. Lee has a wealth of knowledge of the game with an excellent ability to  deliver educational techniques which is vital to the team to be a step a head. Lee also motivates players and staff into a winning mentality.

Without the support of a great team the Phantoms wouldn’t be as successful as they have in recent years. After many seasons with the Phantoms we are delighted to see the return of Rochelle Owen, back as the Phantoms Sports Therapist.

The players take a lot of phenomenal knocks, bumps and even breaks to their bodies over the course of the season and on each occaision its Rochelle that is the  first person who is called upon to aid and assist the players in recovery. Rochelle really does make sure we ice the best team possible each and every week.

Lastly, with the extensive duties around changing room and tending to the players needs, we are pleased to welcome back Equipment Technician Jim Parrish. Jim is returning after a season away, and is looking forward to supporting the team and staff. Getting the team ready for a home or away game, as well as making sure the equipment is in place, is never ending job.  Jim is already on the case making sure everything is perfect for the players in the locker room.
