The Peterborough DALROD Phantoms, tonight announce the departure of net minder Adam Long.

The local based net minder made the step up into the number one spot at Phantoms this season, after backing up Janis Auzins for the last 2 full seasons. As personnel has changed between the pipes in recent weeks with Euan King coming on board, a very hard decision has been made in releasing Adam from his contract with immediate effect.

As Adam is only 22 years of age, its vital playing time that he needs to develop and learn. Unfortunately this is something that the Phantoms cannot commit to giving him, and for this reason it was felt it best for Adam to find another team that would be able to offer this.

The entire Phantoms organisation would like to thank Adam for all his efforts and wish him all the best of luck for the future.

The Phantoms would also like to thank The Wilmott Family for sponsoring Adams Home and Away jersey and Stall . We appreciate your support.
