The DALROD Sponsored Peterborough Phantoms are happy to announce that defenceman Scott Robson is returning for the 2015/2016 season as part of a new 2-year deal that will see the Hull-based player with the club until the end of the 2016/17 season.

19-year old Scott has played 50 games in all competitions for the Phantoms scoring 4 goals and 7 assists for 11 points, including a goal in the Play Off final win against the Manchester Phoenix.

Speaking about Robson’s return, Phantoms Head Coach, Slava Koulikov said: “Robo has done a great job in his first year in the EPL and I am very pleased to have him with us for the next two years.

“Robo reads the game well for his age, he makes good first passes, can skate with the puck if needed and be an offensive threat. As well as that, he is solid in the defensive zone and good on the PK.”

Slava continued: “He is young, hungry and with the work he is putting in this summer, can establish himself as one of the best British D-men in the league next season.”

Speaking on his return, Scott said “I’m over the moon to be back for the next two years in Peterborough under Slava. I am sure with a lot of hard work, we can build on the success of last year and earn more silverware this upcoming year.

“The leagues shaping up to be the toughest yet, every game will be a battle it will be a great spectacle every game we play in no doubt.”

He continued: “I’m looking forward to get started again in September and seeing all the players, staff and our fans, we have a great group this year. I’m looking forward to the challenge ahead and to develop further in my game and achieve my personal goals.”

Scott’s Away shirt is available on Own & Loan Shirt for £150, (the home shirt has already sold). Further signings are due to be announced soon and can be found on, the official Peterborough Phantoms Facebook page, on Twitter – @GoPhantoms or our dedicated YouTube channel OfficialPhanTV.
