The DALROD Sponsored Peterborough Phantoms are delighted to announce that Utility Player Lloyd Gibson will be joining for the 2015/2016 season.

The Sheffield born player has played 466 Games in the EPIHL for Sheffield, (Scimitars & Steeldogs), scoring 85 goals for 204 points in his career so far.

Speaking about signing Gibson, Phantoms head coach, Slava Koulikov said: “I am very pleased to have Lloyd join our phantoms family. I have played many games against Steeldogs and he is always one player I remember”.

He continued: “Lloyd has a bit of everything, his stats are consistent every year, he is good skater, can score and set plays up. He is physical and I hear only good things about him as a person. Lloyd can also play Forward or Defence, he ticks all the boxes and I am very much looking forward to working with him come August”.

Speaking about joining the club, Lloyd said: “After five minutes on the phone with Slava I knew I wanted to join the Phantoms. His plans for the upcoming season are really exciting and he wants to build and improve on the success you had last year. At the end of the day I want to win trophies and that’s why I’m coming to Peterborough.”

He added “I will work hard for the team every time and hopefully chip in with some goals too. I just want to get this season started and I’m really looking forward to getting going on the ice for the Phantoms”.

Lloyd’s Own & Loan shirts; Home & Away, are available for £150 each. Further signings are due to be announced soon and can be found on, the official Peterborough Phantoms Facebook page, on Twitter – @GoPhantoms or our dedicated YouTube channel OfficialPhanTV.
