The DALROD Sponsored Peterborough Phantoms are delighted to announce the return of Lithuanian forward Darius Pliskauskas.

Darius played 44 games in all competitions last season, scoring 28 goals for 52 points including 3 goals during the play offs to win the Playoff title. He then went on to represent his native Lithuania at the IIHF World Championships scoring 2 goals on the way to a bronze medal.

Speaking about the re-signing of Pliskauskas, Phantoms head coach Slava Koulikov said: “I am very pleased to sign Darius to a multi-year contract after fighting off other teams for his signature. He was instrumental towards the end of the season and in the Playoffs.

“Darius scored some big goals to help us clinch 4th place in the league and the game winner against Telford to get us to the playoff final at Coventry. Darius won two Playoff titles and a League Cup in 5 seasons in the EPL and will lead our team to more success, I am sure.

“Darius is a game-breaker and I am excited to have him back with Phantoms.”

Speaking about his return, Pliskauskas said: “I am very happy to come back to the Phantoms family, and am looking forward to a repeat of last season’s success.

“All of the teams have raised their game and I can’t wait to grow on our success, with a great team!”

Pliskauskas’ Own and Loan shirts – home & away – are available at £200 each.

Further signings are due to be announced soon and can be found on, the official Peterborough Phantoms Facebook page, on Twitter – @GoPhantoms or our dedicated YouTube channel OfficialPhanTV.
