The  DALROD Peterborough Phantoms are delighted to confirm British defence man Tom Stubley will be joining the Phantoms for the 2016/17 season.

The 17 year old Under 18’s GB international has spent his junior career in Hull. The talented youngster made his debut for the Stingrays in 2014/15 season, and made his EPL break with Hull Pirates last season.

Slava Koulikov commented on Stubley’s  acquisition “I am excited to see Tom as part of our Phantoms family. Tom, in my opinion is the best British defence man for his age, with good overall hockey skills and has a great future ahead of him. That is why it was a no brainer to sign Tom as soon as I knew he was available.”

Slava continues “Tom is hungry and has four important summer months ahead of him, to build foundations for the season.  With his work ethic and attitude I have no doubt Tom will replace Cam from the start and he will be pushing the rest of the D in the second half of the season”.

Tom commented on his arrival to the Phantoms – “It was a tough decision to leave Hull after playing there all my life, the prospect of playing in a top side and working with Slava was too good to resist. After the clubs success in recent years and being within touching distance to silverware last season, the aim will be to definitely get some this year.”

Stubley continues “As for what I will bring personally to the team,  I’ll always leave my everything on the ice and I’m keen to listen and learn in order to develop as a player”.

We hope you all join us in welcoming Tom to the Phantoms.

Further signings are due to be announced soon and can be found on, the official Peterborough Phantoms Facebook page, on Twitter – @GoPhantoms or our dedicated YouTube channel OfficialPhanTV.
