The DALROD Peterborough Phantoms are pleased to announce Peterborough trained British D-man Robbie Ferrara has re-signed for the Phantoms for the next 2 seasons.

The 2015/16 defence man of the year, voted by you the fans, is back. The 26 year old Peterborough trained defence man will of course bring some great experience to our blue line after a couple of impressive EPL seasons with the Phantoms.

Slava Koulikov commented on Ferrara’s return “Last season was Robbie’s best season of his career, he played simple but effective hockey, was consistent and deserved his award at the end of the season awards.

“I believe it was down to his maturity and the work he put in over the summer months, working on his weaknesses.”

Slava continues “Every player has a weakness, but not every player like to work on the in the way Robbie did, and he was instrumental in our league positioning and being cup runners up.

“Robbie is an important member of our team and I am glad we have his services for the next two years”.

Ferrara spoke to us, commenting on his two year contract “It’s great to be back with the team, I always enjoy being a part of the Phantoms club. The club has grown and improved so much over the last couple of seasons and I look forward to the challenge of trying to keep the club moving forward and winning some silverware”
