The Peterborough DALROD Phantoms would like to announce prospect Callum Medcalf to the Phantoms senior squad.

Callum made his debut with the Phantoms last year, when his services were called upon for injury cover. The 17 year old defence man has played all his junior career in Phantoms colours and has worked incredibly hard to become a prospect player of the senior side.

Head Coach Slava Koulikov commented on Callum joining the Phantoms as a Prospect player saying “Callum is a local kid, who has been skating with us for the past 2 seasons. He played in the last 2 games of the season and he did really well.

“As a prospect player, he will be playing full time with the Islanders, and train with both Islanders and Phantoms, we will be monitor his development and working with him to improve his game. If he keep progressing and pushing himself, he will have a good chance of becoming a Phantom in the near future. With Medi’s maturity on and off the ice his future looks bright.”

Medcalf also commented on his new venture “I’m honoured to be given this opportunity. I look forward to working alongside the players and coaches to improve my game. I am also excited to help the team and contribute to the future successes of the club”

Further signings are due to be announced soon and can be found on, the official Peterborough Phantoms Facebook page, on Twitter – @GoPhantoms or our dedicated YouTube channel OfficialPhanTV.
