The Peterborough DALROD Phantoms are delighted to confirm Euan King will be joining the Peterborough Phantoms.

The England National Team goalie coach, joins the Phantoms after playing 29 games with the London Raiders.  Euan, son of retired coach and player of the Phantoms Kevin King and Brother to Invicta Dynamos goalie Damien King, played his junior career within the Peterborough set up. In 2003 Euan signed for the Phantoms seniors as a prospect player, whilst gaining valuable playing time with the Peterborough Fen Tigers and Pythons. He went on to ice his debut game in senior hockey in 2006.

After many years with the Phantoms and appearances with the GB under 18’s and 20’s, Euan went on loan to Elite League side Basingstoke Bison in 2008/09. The season after Euan started his playing career down south, spending the last 7 seasons (with one seasons gap in playing) in Romford/London, Chelmsford and Streatham.

Although the 28-year-old, local based goalie has spent many years away from his home city side, he has still been working closely with the Peterborough junior set up here in Peterborough, as Head Goalie Coach.

Commenting on his move to the Phantoms Euan said “I’m looking forward to getting going with the Phantoms and I’m exciting to pull on that jersey again. Slava has built a very strong roster and I’m excited to be a part of it. Hopefully I can help the team in the hunt for silverware this season”.

We hope you all agree his experience and knowledge will only but help the team and all the goalies within the Phantoms set up.
