The Peterborough DALROD Phantoms can confirm the acquisition of defenceman, Callum Buglass.

The 21-year-old, defenceman came through the Cardiff Devils Development Programme, before getting snapped up by the EPL side Swindon Wildcats where he spent three seasons in red and white. In 2017 Callum returned home to play for his City side Cardiff Fire.

Callum, has previously played under Slava, when representing his country in the GB Under 20’s squad.

Slava Koulikov commented on Callum joining the Phantoms, saying “Callum is a player I have been tracking for some time now. He really impressed me when he played for Swindon and GB U20 same year.

Callum has good size, moves really well, takes up good ice position and can make good 1st pass. No wonder many teams, including elite sides, were interested in bringing him in this year and I am really happy he wanted to come to us.”

Slava continued “Callum is young, hungry and focused solely on hockey and I believe there is plenty more to come from him.

Callum will be a direct replacement for Knagsy, and all the coaching staff are looking forward to working with him this season!”

Callum, also commented “I am very excited to start this new chapter in my hockey career, I can’t wait to meet up with the guys and get the season started.

As a team, we’ll be working hard every single game to win some silverware for the fans. I’m really happy to be working with Slava and believe he can help improve my game a lot.”

The Own & Loan is now available for Callum Buglass’s away jersey at £125 each.

This year we are also offering a corporate player sponsorship for businesses which will offer announcements and a social media package for as little as £500. For more information on corporate sponsorship or own & loans please contact
