The Wendy’s Peterborough Phantoms are delighted to announce the return of Canadian forward, Dillon Lawrence, for the 2026/27 season!

Dillon initially joined the Phantoms ahead of 2025/26 and enjoyed an excellent debut season at the club, notching 42 goals and 34 assists for 76 points in 46 debut season games.

The big forward is no stranger to British hockey, having been plying his trade here since 2017, when he initially joined the Edinburgh Capitals after his stint at Boston University.

Since then, he’s iced for the Coventry Blaze, Dundee Stars, Fife Flyers and Milton Keynes Lightning, with his only times away from the UK coming in his first off-season in 2018 when he went to Australia, and three games for Dunkerque during the COVID shutdown in the UK.

Dillon quickly established himself as a key figure in the Phantoms’ team after his arrival last summer and led the league in powerplay goals last term, with 23 PPG’s.

Here’s what Dillon had to say on his re-signing: “Excited for another opportunity with the Phantoms. I appreciated being welcomed into Peterborough last season by the fans, all the staff, the team, and the ownership group. I’m looking forward to getting back on the ice in the fall and building on the positives of last season.”

Whilst Head Coach, Ashley Tait, said: “Dillon was one of the first names on my list when re-signing guys. He definitely didn’t get the plaudits he deserved last year and is as solid a 2-way player you’re going to get.”

Welcome back, Dillon!
