The Wendy’s Peterborough Phantoms are delighted to announce the return of forward, Richard Hartmann, on a two-way deal with the Fife Flyers.
Hartmann joined the Phantoms mid-way through last season from the Milton Keynes Lightning and quickly became a popular figure amongst the fans.
The young forward had agreed to return to the Club this season, prior to an offer arriving from Fife, which he couldn’t refuse at the time.
He began the season on a two-way with the EIHL Flyers and the Dundee Comets of the SNL, but now returns to Peterborough to continue his development.
“I am really excited to be back and can’t wait to be playing in front of all the fans again!” - Hartmann said on his return.
Whilst Head Coach, Ashley Tait, said: “We had obviously planned to start the year with Richard so to get him back is a positive. I think he’ll have a point to prove and the way he plays will reinforce that.”
Hartmann goes straight into the lineup for tonight’s game against the Sheffield Steeldogs and will also feature in tomorrow night’s home game against the Telford Tigers.
