The Wendy’s Peterborough Phantoms can confirm that AJ Herring has joined the Widnes Wild on a two-way agreement to further aid his development.
Having made his senior Phantoms debut at the back end of the 2024/25 season and played a starring role for the Club’s NIHL2 side, as they won their playoff finals in Sheffield.
He made further appearances for the Phantoms in pre-season and has been back amongst the scoring for the Phantoms NIHL2 side, including a recent hat-trick against the Haringey Huskies.
AJ now joins Widnes on a two-way arrangement, to add the NIHL1 level to his schedule, and further aid his development as a hockey player.
We’d like to wish AJ all the best on his outings with the Wild, and look forward to seeing more of him in a Phantoms jersey also!
