The SLS Peterborough Phantoms are pleased to confirm the return of forward Morgan Clarke-Pizzo, for the 2026/27 season.
The 26-year-old began his career in his hometown of Peterborough, before moving into the Nottingham junior setup.
He headed over to North America in 2016, where he represented the Ontario Hockey Academy U18’s for two years and earned his first call up to the Great Britain U20 squad.
In 2018, he made the move to the Syracuse Jr. Stars in the USPHL Premier, notching seven goals and 10 assists for 17 points in 22 games, whilst also picking up his first goal and assists for GB U20.
2019/20 was a productive season for Morgan, who scored 11 goals and added 31 assists for 42 points in 37 USPHL Premier games with the Utica Jr. Comets.
His return to England came around the time of the COVID-19 lockdown, when he represented the Nottingham Panthers in the EIHL Series. He arrived back in Peterborough in 2021/22, scoring 14 points in 14 games, before ending the campaign in Milton Keynes.
Since then, he’s had spells with the Bristol Pitbulls, Guildford Flames and Sheffield Steeldogs, prior to his latest return to Peterborough last season.
In 2025/26, he picked up nine goals and 14 assists for 23 points in 47 games - a total he’ll be looking to add to upon his return to the lineup for 2026/27!
Morgan said: “Really excited to be back in Peterborough and to get back underway. It's going to be a different season. And I look forward to seeing what we can achieve this season. With a group of key returning players and with the additions we have picked up we have a chance to do something special.”
Whilst Ashley Tait said: “Morgan gives us that bit more depth and as he showed last year, can play up and down the line up. Biggest thing for me is that we continue to build on the progress made last year.”
