The SLS Peterborough Phantoms are delighted to announce the signing of Canadian forward, Adam Berg, for the 2026/27 season.
The 29-year-old from Calgary, Alberta, began his junior career with the Okotoks Oilers U15’s before moving on to the CBHA Blackhawks and Calgary Buffaloes.
Berg progressed to the Calgary Mustangs, Regina Pats, Edmonton Oil Kings and the Chilliwack Chiefs before spending five years playing for Brock University in the USports league.
After his time in USports, he moved on to the East Coast Hockey League with the Cincinnati Cyclones before notching 23 points in 50 games with the Utah Grizzlies in the same league.
He signed with the Nottingham Panthers ahead of 2024/25, collecting one point in nine games for the Elite League side, before returning to Utah for the remainder of the campaign where he added seven goals and ten assists in 50 games.
He began 2025/26 with the Grizzlies but then made the move back into Europe with Hammer Eisbären in Germany.
And now, he’s the newest member of the SLS Peterborough Phantoms for the 2026/27 season!

Phantoms Head Coach, Ashley Tait, said: “I’m looking forward to working with Adam. I think he’ll give us needed experience as well as depth and grit at both ends of the ice that we were maybe missing last year.”
