The Wendy’s Peterborough Phantoms are pleased to confirm our pre-season fixture schedule, which includes a home double header against French Division 1 side, Neuilly-Sur-Marne.
Ashley Tait’s first outing as Phantoms’ Head Coach will be on Saturday 6th September, when Neuilly-Sur-Marne, Les Bisons, visit Planet Ice Peterborough for a 7pm face off.
The two sides will meet again the following evening (Sunday 7th) in a 5:30pm face off, again at Planet Ice Peterborough.
Les Bisons will also be taking on the Romford Raiders on Friday 5th September, prior to their double header visit to Peterborough.
Franck Spinozzi, General Manager of Les Bisons, said: “We’re really pleased to announce that we’ll be travelling to UK to face both the Peterborough Phantoms and the Romford Raiders. It’s a great opportunity for our club to expand our preparation, experience a different style of hockey, and test ourselves against quality opposition.
“These games are an important part of our preseason build-up. Competing internationally helps our group grow on and off the ice, and we’re proud to represent our club in these kinds of matchups.” Spinozzi concluded.

Thanks to all the guys at Neuilly-Sur-Marne and Romford in helping us get this on. It’s going to be good to see a European flavour in Peterborough this September and a different test for the players and a certainly some different players and talents for fans to enjoy!”
On the following weekend, Phantoms will travel to Romford to take on Jason Buckman’s Raiders in a 5:15pm face off on Saturday 13th September.
And our pre-season schedule concludes on Sunday 14th September, when the Romford Raiders visit Planet Ice Peterborough in a 5:30pm face off.
The Wendy’s Peterborough Phantoms are delighted to confirm two ticket deals for our pre-season games:
- For the double header against Les Bisons, when you buy a ticket for the Saturday game, you’ll get your Sunday ticket half price!
- Season ticket holders who purchase all three games at once, will have their season ticket seats reserved for our home pre-season fixtures!
