The Waldeck Peterborough Phantoms are please to announce that the voting is now open for our 2022/23 season awards.
The award categories are as follows:

- Unsung Hero – Sponsored by Axis Alloys
Unsung Hero Shortlist:
The nominations for Unsung Hero have been counted and there will be 6 shortlisted people for this award. These people have been chosen by you the fans for the going above and beyond for your Waldeck Peterborough Phantoms throughout the 2022/23 season.
Unsung Hero Nominees:
Phanforce –
Phanforce are the official supporters club for your Peterborough Phantoms, made up of 5 volunteers; Amanda, Clare, Scott, Liz and Sandra. These 5 people dedicate their time in the season to helping raise imperative funds for the club. They are present at every home game, but also dedicate many hours within the week to the Phantoms organisation whether it be from putting on amazing Phanforce events, to creating merchandise for you all. They are a vital part of our organisation and we wouldn’t have the supporters club without them.
Ben Pateman –
Ben is our match night host and the voice of the Phantoms! He works tirelessly on match nights to ensure that you Phantoms fans gain the best match night experience possible. Ben volunteers his time on match nights and throughout the week to the Phantoms and really is irreplaceable due to his enthusiasm and love for the team.
Emily Woods –
Emily is our Head of Marketing and Promotions for the Peterborough Phantoms. Emily works full-time for the Phantoms taking on the daily tasks of the club, looking after our sponsors, creating all of the content you see on our social channels and hosting events for the team. Even on away match nights, Emily continues to dedicate her time by being responsible for the match night tweets allowing all fans to stay updated. Apart from social media & marketing, many of you will know Emily, due to her hard work on match nights and being such an integral part of the Phantoms for the last couple of years. Phantoms could not run as smoothly as it does without her.
Steve Coulson –
Steve is a supporter of the club whom is great at inviting new fans to the Phantoms games. The hospitality in which he provides to fans both new and long term is second to none. Steve is a great ambassador for the club as he is so passionate about hockey in Peterborough, he is constantly trying to enhance the experience of a game night to the endless of new fans in which he brings to games yearly.
Tom Lea –
Tom is a long standing part of the media team. He provides match night tweets for all home games and also writes the game reports that you all love. Tom volunteers his time at home games to ensure that people who are not in attendance can still keep up to date with all of the home game action.
Off-Ice Team –
The off-ice team is made up of Rochelle Owen (Team Physio), Kristian Kenny (Equipment manager), Barry Owen (Equipment staff) and Paul Coupland (Team first aid). These 4 people dedicate so much time to the Phantoms in more ways than one. Whether it be from the endless hours spent at the rink maintaining the equipment to traveling to every away game with the team to ensure everything is perfect so the team can perform. They dedicate so much of their time behind the scenes to ensure that the team can function to the best of their ability every week!
