The WALDECK Peterborough Phantoms regretfully announce that #21 Luc Johnson will be leaving the club after 2 seasons.

Luc joined the Phantoms in 2021 and has been a huge influence on the team since joining! Luc joined the Phantoms as a forward in 2021 but quickly showed the fans his 2-way-game as he switched to a defenceman for the 22/23 season, picking up 2 awards!

Prior to his arrival in Peterborough, Johnson played his senior hockey in Milton Keynes and Swindon and also represented Great Britain at U18 and U20 level.

Luc commented: “I’ve loved the last 2 years of playing for the Phantoms. I’ve made many great friends and memories that will last forever. Winning the National Cup with the group of players we had this past year was so special and something that I’ll always be able to look back on with a smile. It’s disappointing and a shame I won’t be around for a 3rd year but hopefully I’ll see you all around!”

We are sad to see Luc leave the organisation but we would like to thank him for all of his hard work over the past 2 seasons, and wish him all the best for whatever may come next!

Thank you Jono #21
