We are delighted to confirm that Peterborough City Radio (PCR FM) has agreed a new partnership with the Waldeck Peterborough Phantoms Ice Hockey Club for the 23/24 season.

The agreement will establish PCR FM as the official music partner for the Waldeck Peterborough Phantoms for their matchday player playlist shows and related social media content. In return, the Phantoms will have a regular platform on PCR FM for exclusive news, updates and features throughout the ice hockey season.

PCR FM broadcast a range of shows from studios based in the Herlington Centre. As a non-for-profit organisation, they are staffed mostly by volunteers. Their remit, as well as playing great music, is to offer a platform for local news, sport and information and support the work of many charitable groups and organisations across the city.

As a community focussed media outlet, this agreement continues to grow PCR FM’s partnerships with Peterborough’s proud sporting brands and organisations, which are seen as the heartbeat of many communities in the city.

Phantoms Head of Marketing, Emily Woods commented “We are delighted to welcome PCR FM on board for the 23/24 season! We are excited to now be able to widen our scope within Peterborough, and we can’t wait for you all to keep up to date with everything Phantoms come September. PCR FM will become the official sponsor of the Players Playlist for next season so keep an eye out for what’s to come.”

PCR FM presenter, Dipam Joshi, commented “We are proud and excited to team up with one of Peterborough’s most established and well-known sporting clubs, which shares similar community-based values as PCR FM. This partnership further supports our continuing intent to champion local and regional sporting clubs, organisations and people in our city. Go Phantoms!”
