The Peterborough Phantoms are pleased to announce the re-signing of local defenceman, Bradley Bowering!

Bowering, still only 20, has racked up over 100 Phantoms senior appearances in what is still the early part of his career. Last season saw him post his career high in points with 17 points in 41 games from the blue line, a total he’ll be looking to improve on once again his season.
Last season also presented Brad with the opportunity to play for the Great Britain U20’s team, where he picked up two assists in five games, helping his side to a Bronze medal finish.
Slava said the following on Bowering’s decision to re-sign: “It’s been a pleasure to watch Brad’s progression in our team, he’s gone from a young kid with lots of potential to one of the best defencemen in the league, still with potential to progress much further. He’s a responsible defenceman, but some of the plays he can make and goals he’s scored have been incredible. I’m really to have him back in the lineup with us!”
And this is what Brad said about his staying with his local team: “As always it’s a pleasure to be back playing with the Phantoms, I think we showed what we are capable of towards the end of last year and I’m looking forward to seeing what we can achieve this season!”
