The Waldeck Peterborough Phantoms are thrilled to announce that d-man Scott Robson will stay in a Phantoms jersey for the 23/24 season!

The 22/23 defenceman of the year will be back in a Phantoms jersey for his 9th season with the team after signing a new 2 year deal with the club!

The 27-year-old started his hockey career playing for Manchester, Hull and Blackburn at junior levels before joining the Phantoms at 18. Since joining the Phantoms in the 14/15 season, he has played 358 games racking up 144 points for the team and been apart of 3 winning rosters; the 14/15 season play-off champions, the 17/18 treble champions and the 22/23 cup champions!

Scott commented: “I’m really excited to be coming back to Peterborough this year, after the season we had winning another trophy it was very easy decision to return back for my 9th season in paradise. I can’t wait to get started again with the group Slava is putting together to battle and win more silverware for the club and you fans!”

Head Coach Slava Koulikov commented: “I’m really happy to have Robbo for the next 2 seasons and celebrate his 10 year anniversary in the 24/25 season!”

“Robbo is one of our most experienced D who has a great two-way balance to his game. Robbo plays with maturity and knows when the team needs help to generate offence and also knows when defence comes first. Robbo always leads by example and can play in any situation but the biggest asset in his game is his commitment to block shots at all costs. This is a great quality to have in a player, as the rest of the guys follow him.”

Welcome back Robbo!
