The Peterborough Phantoms are pleased to confirm the return of popular defenceman, Scott Robson!

Born in Beverley, Robbo’s junior development was split between Manchester, Bradford and Hull. In 2012/13, Robson signed with the then Elite League Hull Stingrays, whilst also icing for their NIHL2 side.
The former Great Britain U18 and U20 International arrived in Peterborough ahead of the 2014/15 season, initially on a two-way with the Stingrays, but Robbo went on to play the vast majority of the season with Phantoms.
After an impressive debut year, Robbo signed on a one-way contract with the Phantoms, scoring 18 points from the blue line. He’s now played over 300 times in Phantoms colours and returns for a eighth season as part of the lineup in Peterborough!
Robbo said the following on his return: “It was a no brainer to re sign with the team this year, couldn’t be happier to be back with Peterborough for my 8th year. We have a great group of lads and we are going to be playing an exciting brand of hockey. It’s an exciting time to be part of this club.
I’m looking forward to building on last seasons progression and ending this season with a couple of banners being hung up on the wall! Looking forward to seeing all you guys back in the rink come September getting behind the team as best fans in the league!!!”
“Robbo is one of the best defenceman in the league and he’s a guy you can count on in any situation. The work he does sometimes goes unnoticed but he puts his body on the line night in, night out blocking shots and helping to keep the puck out of our net. I’m really happy that he agreed to return for an eighth year and I’m looking forward to welcoming him back again!” said Phantoms Head Coach, Slava Koulikov.
