In 2022, Phanforce Vice Chair Liz Rose competed in the Man vs Mountain challenge in hopes of raising funds for a new skate grinder for the WALDECK Peterborough Phantoms.
The Man vs Mountain race is one that starts at sea level in Caernarfon Castle, progressed to the summit of mount Snowden and back down the other side in to the Dinorwic Quarry. This punishing course is 22 miles long with an ascent of 5055ft!
Liz managed to raise a massive £1546.00 while completing this race! We would like to congratulate Liz and also thank everyone that supported and sponsored her.
The money raised has allowed the Waldeck Peterborough Phantoms to purchase a new skate grinder for the team locker room, which is a great asset in making sure the teams skates are always match ready.
