The Waldeck Peterborough Phantoms regretfully announce that defenseman Tom Barry has left the club.
Over the last three months we have been evaluating our roster and our local defencemen; Billy Thorpe and Archie Salisbury are making great progress which would mean that ice time for Tom would’ve been limited. This hard decision has been made in order to develop our young local talent, and for our development players to have more consistent ice time. This will now enable them to reach their full potential and have the best chances they can to cement their positions at GB level.
We would like to thank Tom for everything that he has done for the club in his 2 seasons in Peterborough, and wish him luck for wherever he chooses to play next.
