The Waldeck Peterborough Phantoms are pleased to announce the acquisition of young forward, Justin Dennison on prospect contract for the 23/24 season!

The 17-year-old has signed his first prospect contract with the club in order to gain experience and develop! Dennison will be playing for Phantoms U18’s, Phantoms NIHL 2 and also a NIHL1 team under his new contract with the club as part of his development.

Last season, Dennison captained the Phantoms U18 side putting up an impressive 18 goals and 5 assists to end the season on 23 points from 11 games. He also played 13 games for the Phantoms NIHL2 racking up 9 points from 3 goals and 6 assists. For the 23/24 season, Justin will be wearing #44 for the Phantoms!

Phantoms Director of Hockey, Jon Kynaston, said: “Justin is a skilled player with good potential, coachable and a good attitude. Justin has represented his country at junior levels and works hard since he joined us and it will be good to see how he begins to transition more to senior hockey.”

Dennison has the following to say: “Having moved to Peterborough academy 2 years ago I have been given lots of opportunities to progress in both the junior and Men’s leagues. I am excited to have been given this chance to step up into the National league and I can’t wait to give it my all and push myself for the Phantoms.”
