The Peterborough Phantoms are delighted to announce the return of forward, Luc Johnson!
The 25 year old began his career in Milton Keynes, whilst also playing for the Okanagan Academy.
Prior to his arrival in Peterborough, Johnson played his senior hockey in Milton Keynes and Swindon and also represented Great Britain at U18 and U20 level.
He arrived in Peterborough ahead of the 2021/22 season, but had a frustrating, injury hit season. But he returns for another season in Phantoms colours, hoping for a more successful season both personally and collectively.
“I’m super excited to be back with the Phantoms for another year. It was a challenging year at times both personally with injury and for the team but we all feel that how we finished the last 6/8 weeks of the year is exactly where we want to be! Slava has made some great additions over the summer which should help our team push on and I’m excited to see where we’ll be come April as there’s no reason why we shouldn’t be challenging all year long! I hope the fans enjoy the last couple of weeks of Summer and see you all at the Phanforce BBQ on the 27th!” Luc said.
“Luc is a great guy and an effective two way player. He’s responsible defensively and has good speed. He was unlucky with injuries last season but we’re happy to have him back in our team for another year!” said Slava Koulikov.
Luc’s own and loan light and dark jerseys are now available on the Phantoms Online Store. His equipment is also available to sponsor on our kit sponsorship grid. Head to the online store HERE to secure your Johnson jersey and equipment!
