Biography
We are delighted to continue our role in the Peterborough hockey development pathway as players make their way from the junior club to the senior team. This year we have #37 Mathew Saville joining us for the 23/24 season.
Mathew featured for the team last season and gained valuable experience playing adult hockey.
Mathew is a composed utility player who is good on the puck and we will look to use his ability as a defenseman this season.
Mathew will continue playing for the under 18s to gain the majority of his ice time but we look forward to having him with us, as and when available.
Mathew commented, “I’m looking forward to my first full season of senior hockey, after playing for the juniors for 10 years it’s really exciting to get the opportunity to train and play for Phantoms 2.
"I’m looking forward to developing my skills, working hard and learning from the experienced players.”
