The WALDECK Peterborough Phantoms are delighted to announce the acquisition of British forward, Tom Palmer, from the Sheffield Steeldogs!

The 22-year-old joins the Phantoms from the Sheffield Steeldogs, where he played 98 games - putting up 20 points in his first 2 seasons in the NIHL. Tom came up through the junior system in Sheffield before going on to join the Nottingham Lions in NIHL 1, where he played 53 games, notching 8 goals and 8 assists. In the 22/23 season, Tom was also given the honour of captaining the Great Britain University team in the United States.

Head Coach Slava Koulikov commented: “Really happy to add Tom to our roster for next season. Every coach and player I have spoken with only has good things to say about Tom. He is young and hungry, can play in the top 6 positions and also does a really good job on role lines.

"Tom is a responsible player who understands hockey well on and off the puck and is not afraid to go to dirty areas. Tom has great potential, takes hockey seriously, and I am looking forward to working with him next season.” Slava concluded.

New signing, Tom Palmer had the following to say: “I am excited to be joining Peterborough Phantoms and looking forward to continuing my own personal development. Slava is building a strong side, capable of pushing on all fronts and I hope I can contribute to the teams success next season.”

#26 Tom Palmer's player sponsorship is available for the 24/25 season, along with his own and loans. Please email for more information.
